✅ 1 jalapeño, seeded and quartered
✅ 4 large garlic cloves, smashed
✅ ½ cup cilantro, chopped
✅ 1 tablespoon oregano leaves
✅ ½ teaspoon kosher salt (plus more to taste)
✅ ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (plus more to taste)
✅ 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
✅ 3 (15-ounce) cans of hominy, drained

How to Make It:
1️⃣ Boil the Chicken:
- In a large pot, bring chicken stock and water to a boil.
- Add chicken breasts skin-side down, cover, and simmer on low heat for about 25 minutes, until fully cooked.
- Remove the chicken, shred the meat, and discard the skin and bones.
2️⃣ Roast the Veggies:
- While the chicken is cooking, roast the tomatillos, onion, poblanos, and jalapeño until they are slightly charred.
3️⃣ Blend the Green Sauce:
- In a blender, combine the roasted veggies, garlic, cilantro, oregano, and ½ cup of the cooking liquid.
- Blend until smooth and season with salt and pepper.
4️⃣ Bring It All Together:
- Pour the green sauce into the pot with the remaining broth.
- Add hominy and bring everything to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the shredded chicken, season to taste, and cook until heated through.
